The Scope:
Reddit Collectible Avatars (RCA) are limited avatars that give Redditors on the platform unique benefits, such as standing out in the comments section, being able to mix and match with other avatars, and being traded/sold through Reddit and the blockchain.
How it works:
To create a Reddit Collectible Avatar, artists use Snoo, Reddit’s mascot, as a basis for their designs. Artists have lots of artistic freedom when creating their designs, but following the template is recommended to promote mashability.
Avatar artists are also required to follow Reddit’s branding guidelines, RCA guidelines, and the overall structure and confines of the avatar builder.
As the program went on, Reddit avatars experienced many evolutions, where artists pushed the limits of depicting the Snoo in extremely creative ways. These are all of the Reddit Collectible Avatars I’ve created in chronological order:
