ONE PIECE ZINE

My favorite anime is One Piece, and I wanted to specifically showcase the many themes present in the series: dreams, inherited will, freedom, slavery, racism, liberation, and more. To do this, I illustrated many characters throughout the series with a famous quote accompanying it.

To make the zine unique, I decided to go with an analog approach using construction paper, watercolor, markers, and pens to piece together the illustrations. These were then scanned into Photoshop and touched up with coloring and fixing the placement of the pieces. To add, all text was hand-written and also scanned and touched up.
